Romeo-Juliet, Laila-majnu, Heer-Ranjha all are the great love stories, but what is common among all of these, of course other than the fact that all had a fatal end (or it was just the sacrifice for love?). But the other common thing is that they belonged to the opposite camps. The ancient enmity between the love bird's parents and apart from all this, the romance budding between "kul ka deepak" and "papa ki pari" is like silver lining in the grey clouds. Why are great love stories only the ones which are wrapped in trouble? But who would remember them then, it would be so normal and hence monotonous. Raj-Simran too had an epic love saga but with the difference of happy ending, as believed in Bollywood, "agar kahani mein happy ending na hui ho, toh picture abhi baki hai mere doston".
The stressful start of Simran and Raj which later blossomed into beautiful relation of love, but fir aaya family ka turn, papa ko bhi toh manana hai after -all , on-going wedding ceremonies of the girl, hero portrayed as the bridesmaid rather than being the bridegroom , bewildered situation and in the end the table turns and the famous dialogue- "jaa simran jaa, jee le apni zindagi"
But does this mean that if family approves of the boy then kuch toh daal mein kaala hai... aise kaise maan gye? ladka change! after-all everyone want his/her love story to be remembered till eternity.
Relax! love story is made epic by the people involved, the trust, understanding and the concern makes the relation pure, respecting each others point of view is significant and not mere three words make it more lovable but meaning the words said, carves a stronger amatory relationship.
Every love story is great, as the two makes it so.
